Severna Park Racquetball and Fitness Club, Members and Local Businesses Donate Generously to Local Nonprofit | thebaynet.com | TheBayNet.com
ANNAPOLIS, Maryland – The Severna Park Racquetball & Fitness Club (SPRFC) organized a fundraiser for Bay Community Support Services (Bay-CSS), a non-profit organization serving Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s. Donations from Severna Park Racquetball & Fitness Club members were matched by the gym, as well as a local business, NarlyCode, owned by gym member and instructor Mark Gruszecki and David Johnson.
This is not the first time that the Severna Park Racquetball & Fitness Club and its members have made charitable donations to a non-profit organization. “Gym members and owners love to support the community,” says personal trainer and fitness instructor Joan Kostacopol. This year, the SPRFC celebrates its 40th anniversary. They are open completely without restriction and offer access to a variety of activities, including racquetball, swimming, fitness classes, weight training, cardio machines, and gym equipment. The SPRFC is located at 8514 Veterans Hwy, Millersville, MD 21108. Visit sprfc.com to register.
Gym members Donna and Kevin Ryan proposed fundraising for Bay Community Support Services and worked directly with the nonprofit to create a showcase of the services. Every donation made by gym members has been matched twice, once by the gym itself and once by NarlyCode, a local business owned by members Mark Gruszecki and David Johnson. Narlycode operates in the licensed defense services industry.
Fundraising totaled $ 2,160.00 for Bay Community Support Services. Donations will be used to support Bay-CSS’s recently reopened day activity center, located in Annapolis.
