7th Pay Board: Extension of the valuation date for these central government employees
Through the SPARROW platform, the government extended the deadline for agents in groups A, B and C of the CSS, CSSS and CSCS framework for the submission of their annual performance appraisal report (APAR) for the 2020-2021 fiscal year. The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) announced in a press release that the APAR procedure has been extended due to the crisis resulting from Covid-19. A memorandum from the DoPT (OM) office stated that “ As a result, in light of the situation arising from COVID-19, it has been decided with the relevant authority that the timelines for online distribution / generation, of registration and completion of the entire APAR process for the 2020-2021, will be extended, on an ad hoc basis, as specified in the annex, with respect to all officers of groups A, B and C of executives CSS / CSSS / CSCS. the remarks are recorded in the APAR for the year 2020-2021 after 31.12.2021 “.
The new deadlines will apply to agents who are still in office as well as those who will retire on February 28, 2021 or after that date. In situations where reporting and review officers refuse to record their remarks within the allotted time, the reported employee may be assessed. on the basis of the overall assessment and the self-assessment of the year, if he / she has submitted his self-assessment within the allotted time, according to the OM
